What better way to test the durability and comfort of our gear than by taking on one of the UK's toughest physical challenges?
This past weekend, a team of six from the Montrose Bag Company factory floor tackled the National 3 Peaks Challenge: scaling Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon, all within 24 hours.
The team carried all their supplies in our prototype lightweight rucksacks, putting the new ergonomic strap designs and weather-resistant zips through their paces in driving rain, sleet, and even a bit of sunshine.
"It was brutal, but brilliant," says production manager David. "The bags held up perfectly. Not a single drop of water got inside, and the new padding made hauling 10kg up those mountains actually bearable."
We're incredibly proud of the team's achievement, which also raised over £2,000 for local charities. Stay tuned for the release of the new rucksack line they tested, coming later this year!
